Paris-Orly Airport reopens to commercial traffic on Friday June 2020, 26th

On Friday June 2020, 26th, Groupe ADP reopens Paris-Orly Airport which has been closed to commercial flights since April 1st. The airport should handle on this Friday more 70 flights and around 8,000 passengers travelling with ten airlines. The first take-off will be operated by TRANSAVIA with a flight to Porto, in Portugal.

This reopening is gradual: only the Orly 3 sector is currently operational; Orly 1, 2 and 4 will be reopened as demand increases. Although not all airlines have yet submitted their flight schedules, it is already possible to draw up an initial map of French and European destinations for the coming weeks.

Schedule for June,26th
For France: Corsica will be the main destination.
For Schengen destinations: Malaga, Budapest, Catane, Faro, Ibiza, Reykjavik, Lisbon, Madrid, Olbia, Porto, Palermo, Seville and Warsaw. For overseas: Cayenna, Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre or also Saint-Denis of the Reunion Island.

Schedule for 2020 summer 
Numbers of destinations will sharply increase in the coming weeks with the connection to the following countries: Albania, Canada, Ivory Coast, Germany, Algeria, Spain, United-Kingdom, French Guyana, Guadeloupe, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Islander, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Martinique, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Tunisia, Turkey and United-States.

Travelling with total safety
All precautions are taken by Paris Aéroport, in connection with airlines, so that barrier gestures and physical distance have to be respected throughout the passenger's path and among others: 
- the compulsory wearing of a mask;
- the signage to enforce physical distance (7 000 adhesives);
- 150 some automatic hydro alcoholic gel dispensers; 
- a strengthening of disinfection and cleaning procedures with a virucidal product; 
- an adaptation of security control process to limit physical contacts.

Orly 3 will also be equipped with thermal cameras so that passengers can take advantage temperature measurement once they arrives in Paris. And also be directed, if needs and if they wish, to support medical at the airport.
