In August 2018, Paris Aéroport welcomed 10.2 million passengers, an increase of 4.2% compared with August 2017. 7.2 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+4.5%) and 3.1 million through Paris-Orly (+3.6%).
In July and August 2018, traffic at the Paris airports totaled 20.6 million passengers versus 19.9 million over the same period last year, establishing a new record for this period of the year. It should be noted that Paris-Charles de Gaulle recorded a historic day on 12th August 2018 with 248,466 passengers welcomed.
- International traffic (excluding Europe) was up (+5.3%), due to growth in the following destinations: North America (+10.6%), Asia-Pacific (+9.5%), the French Overseas Territories (+5.8%), the Middle East (+4.4%) and Latin America (+1.2%). Only Africa was down (-0.3%);
- European traffic (excluding France) was up by 4.0%;
- Traffic within France was up by 1.1%;
- The number of connecting passengers decreased by 3.2%. The connecting rate stood at 21.4%, down by 1.7 points compared with August 2017.
Passenger traffic at Santiago de Chile Airport, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 5.9% in August 2018 and by 9.5% since the beginning of the year.
Passenger traffic at Amman Airport, 51%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 6.8% in August 2018 and by 7.2% since the beginning of the year.
