Groupe ADP welcomes the closing by TAV Airports of the acquisition of 49% of the capital of ICF, concessionaire of Antalya Airport, for an amount of 360 million euros.
TAV Airports, a 46.12% subsidiary of Groupe ADP, has signed the agreement in February 2018 for this acquisition. TAV Airports will operate the Antalya Airport together with the German company Fraport AG (shareholder with 51% stake of ICF) and will share equally the control of the concessionaire company.
In 2017, Antalya Airport revenue stood at €260.2 million and EBITDA (after concession rent expense) at €91 million.
Second largest airport in Turkey in terms of international traffic, Antalya Airport (which has handled more than 26 million passengers in 2017 and more than 2.5 million passengers in the first quarter of 2018) is the main gateway to the Turkish Riviera, one of the most popular and dynamic tourist destinations in the country, with 500 km of coastline and a hotel capacity that exceeds 600,000 beds.
