Summer Holidays 2020:
Paris Airports ready to welcome travelers
Orly 4 reopens on July 13th

Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports are getting ready to welcome travelers during these summer holidays: sanitary facilities, reopening of shops and restaurants, opening of  new destinations. In this very special summer, find some information and advice to help you prepare your trip.
Paris Airport provides travellers with a specific page on its website accessible from the home page and regularly updated: Paris Airport - Travel advice.

The health system in place does not extend check-in / boarding times. Passengers must therefore present themselves at the times indicated by their airline company.

At Paris-Orly
Orly 3 and Orly 4 (which reopens on 13 July) will welcome you this summer for your holiday departures. To park, the car parks P3 (5 minutes' walk), P4A (in contact) and P4C (10 minutes' walk) are open. The companies generally operate from the following areas:

Anne-Sophie Pic sets down her suitcases at Orly 3
To ensure that the journey starts at the airport, Paris Aéroport has reopened almost all Orly 3 sales outlets. To make the most of a few treats before taking off, a brand new area of nearly 1,000 m² dedicated to catering welcomes its very first travelers. On the menu:
- Anne-Sophie Pic, with the opening of the chic glass-fronted fast-food outlet, Daily Pic;
- IT, Italian Trattoria, a traditional Italian cuisine;
- The first French coffee shop, Caffè Nero;
- A bakery café Gontran Cherrier;
- Paul, Le Café, with a focus on hot beverages.

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle
Terminals 2AC, 2E and 2F are open to welcome passengers. Paris Aéroport recommends that you check which terminal your airline is assigned to. The PAB car parks, to access terminal 2A, PEF, to reach terminals 2E and 2F as well as PR and PX (car parks at a distance from the terminals), are open.
Nearly all points of sale in terminals 2E and 2F are open. The open areas are those dedicated to beauty, fashion, accessories, gastronomy and takeaway food, in addition to the Relay outlets, which have never stopped operating.

Travelling safely
Every passenger must feel safe in the platforms. All precautions are taken by Paris Aéroport, in conjunction with the airlines, to ensure that barrier gestures and physical distance are respected throughout the passenger's journey and among others:
- the compulsory wearing of a mask;
- the signage to enforce physical distance;
- 150 some automatic hydro alcoholic gel dispensers;
- a strengthening of disinfection and cleaning procedures with a virucidal product;
- an adaptation of security control process to limit physical contacts.

Thermal cameras have also been deployed in the terminals since 2 June, so that each passenger is given a temperature reading on arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle or Paris-Orly and, if necessary and if they wish, is directed to medical care at the airport. In addition to this, there are also check-out procedures deployed by airlines, such as taking a temperature on boarding, the need to carry out a test before boarding or the declaration of the absence of symptoms of Covid-19. Furthermore, until further notice, both accompanying persons and persons waiting for passengers are not allowed to enter the terminals (except with a minor and/or a person with reduced mobility).

Passengers bound for the Overseas Territories (with the exception of Pacific communities)
Passengers are invited to perform an RT-PCR test for Covid-19 within 72 hours prior to the flight. This test can be done without a medical prescription. The device is as follows:
- Passengers who test positive for Covid-19 are not allowed to fly
- Passengers who test negative for Covid-19 can undergo a seven-day quarantine followed by a new RT-PCR test. If this second test is negative, the quarantine ends.
- If the passenger does not present any test at boarding, he or she will have to perform a strict quarantine upon arrivals.
