In May 2016, Paris Aéroport welcomed 8.6 million passengers, an increase of 1.4% compared to May 2015. 5.8 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-1.1%), and 2.8 million through Paris-Orly (+6.9%).
As a reminder, traffic in May 2015 benefited from a positive calendar effect thanks to 4 three-day weekends, compared to only 2 this year.

- International traffic (excluding Europe) was down (-1.8%), with a decrease in the following destinations: Asia-Pacific (-10.0%), notably Japan and Malaysia; Africa (-2.6%); Latin America (-1.1%); and North America (-0.5%). The Middle East (+7.0%) and the French Overseas Territories (+0.4%) were up;
- European traffic (excluding France) was up (+3.4%);
- Traffic within France was up (+2.9%);
- The number of connecting passengers increased by 5.9%. The connecting rate stood
- at 22.8%, up by 0.8 points compared to May 2015.
Since the beginning of the year, Paris Aéroport passenger traffic has grown by 2.3%, with a total of 37.7 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has risen by 4.0%. The connecting rate stands at 24.7%, up by 0.5 points.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Groupe ADP, grew by 0.8%(1) in May 2016 and has risen by 4.2%(1) since the beginning of the year.
Passenger traffic at Santiago de Chile, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, was up by 9.3% in May 2016, and has increased by 10.2% since the beginning of the year.

Taking into account Milas Bodrum international terminal traffic on a like-for-like basis for 2015, total TAV Airports passenger traffic would have fallen by 1.3% in May 2016; it would have risen by 3.6% since the beginning of the year, and by 5.3% over the last 12 months.
