Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO of Aéroports de Paris SA - Groupe ADP, has made the following appointments:
- Renaud Duplay has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and joins the group's Executive Committee.
Since July 2022, he is group's project leader for hosting the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris airports, a position he will retain
Renaud Duplay, 42, joined Groupe ADP in 2020, first as Director for Transformation of the group's Engineering Division, then as Deputy Director of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Before joining Groupe ADP, he held a number of positions in the Ministry of the Economy and Finance and at the International Monetary Fund. Between 2018 and 2020, he was Chief of Staff of Minister Sébastien Lecornu at the Ministry responsible for local authorities.
Renaud Duplay is a graduate from the Ecole Normale Supérieure and Telecom ParisTech.
- Fernando Echegaray has been appointed special advisor to the Chairman and CEO.
In this role, he will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of ADP International - shareholder of Santiago, Amman, Zagreb, Madagascar and Liege airports - and will be responsible for the governance of these assets.
Fernando Echegaray, 64, joined Groupe ADP in 2017 as chief operating officer of ADP International, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of ADP International and then Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of operations.
He previously held several positions at Spanish airport operator AENA, including Managing Director of Barcelona - El Prat International Airport, and then Director of the group's entire Spanish network.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of the Balearic Islands. He also has a degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School.
