Groupe ADP, Linkcity Île-de-France and easyHotel to set up the first easyHotel in the Ile-de-France region, at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport

Groupe ADP, as landowner, urban planner and investor, has just signed with the developer Linkcity Île-de-France (subsidiary of Bouygues Construction) and the hotel operator easyHotel an agreement allowing the construction and operations at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport of an easyHotel. Thus achieving the first easyHotel development in the region of this fast-growing economy brand in Europe.

Designed by architectural firm Studio 135 Architects, this hotel, expected to open in January 2021, will offer a total of 209 rooms over five floors covering nearly 4,000 sq.m and fitted with parking spaces for 71 cars and coaches.
In addition, the hotel targets the BREEAM certification[1]good”.
Linkcity has supported easyHotel to adapt this concept to the French regulatory standards. Bouygues Construction's fluidity of action (Brézillon and Elan) allows the building to get out of the ground within 14 months.

Marking the occasion, Serge Grzybowski, Real Estate Director at Groupe ADP said:  “we are delighted to welcome easyHotel brand to offer our airport's customers (businesses, airlines, passengers...) a budget, comfortable and accessible accommodation. The hotel guests will also benefit from the offering of shopping, services, food court at the nearly Aéroville shopping mall. In addition, this is the third hotel project for which Groupe ADP is sole investor, in accordance with its new real estate strategy.”

Martial Desruelles, General Manager of Linkcity France, explains: “this first new easyHotel project developed in France will allow to meet the expectations of many users looking for a comfortable, economic and close location to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. With this operation, Linkcity tightens the links with Groupe ADP and affirms its national footprint on the hotel market with more than 2,000 room ongoing.”

And Marc Vieilledent, Chief Development Officer of easyHotel, conducting the growth of the brand internationally, to conclude: “Early this month, the first French easyHotel opened its doors in Nice, shortly after, works at Grand Roissy easyHotel are beginning. Our property will benefit from the dynamic Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and the proximity of Paris. In a new building, it will embody our entire concept: a hotel with an attractive, comfortable and accessible quality/price ratio, integrated into the vitality of the Aéroville district.”

Located south-west of the airport, the Aéroville district is currently booming. Since 2013, it has been home to the shopping mall of the same name (operated by Unibail Rodamco-Westfield group),  as well as Audi and Volkswagen cars dealerships. And further business outlets are expected to come over the coming years, on already available land reserves.
Moreover, the current accommodation capacity at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport stands at 3,448 rooms in 11 hotels and should reach 4,460 rooms by 2025 as a result of new and future projects in progress while the traffic at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport is expected to grow strongly in the coming years, as the North of Paris attractiveness will progress thanks, in particular, to the dynamism of its exhibition parks.
